Our living room area, complete with our heavy ass IKEA mirror. It really does make the room look more spacious! (And as much time and effort it was to put up, the damn thing stays where it is!) As much as I love these couches, they look better than they are durable and comfy. Give them another year or so and they'll be sagging in the middle. Dammit.
Putting a shelf behind the couch was an idea we stole from an IKEA showcase room. I love that I am able to put pictures and candles on display! This is the second time hubby put it up...the first time, it was too low and the couch kept hitting it and making it loose. Aiya. (btw: if you look at the reflection in the mirror, you may notice something red. That is hubby's WaveMaster punching bag! The darn thing is so heavy, filled with 200 pounds of sand, and we've got no other place for it. It messes with the decor of the room, but it does get lots of use. So there it stays!)
Just another angle of the living room. Gives a glimpse of the dining room table and the bookcase that was originally in our master bedroom. Yet another place to display more pictures!
Lastly, just one to gross ya'll out. My paranoia has begun...the bugs are back! Do notice the size of this monster mosquito. You can't quite tell, but I placed a quarter next to it for comparison's sake. Can I just say EWWWWWW????
