Sometimes the feeling of loss comes over me
Not knowing where to go and what to do
At the fork in the road
Hating the confusion taking over
Disrupting the natural order and flow of life
As it should be
And how I'd like it to be


The days have gone
And the nights have slipped away
Into tomorrow without my knowledge
Surprising me that it has already been a week that has passed
That reality came knocking on our door
Unwelcome
But here to stay
